COOKIES, META AND GOOGLE
This notice adds to our privacy policy and explains the advertising and analytics cookies used on this website.
What we use
We use the Meta Pixel, provided by Meta Platforms Ireland Ltd (Facebook and Instagram). It records the pages you view, when you arrive from one of our ads, and when you click links that take you to other websites such as Ticketmaster. It uses cookies and shares your browser details, IP address and these page and click events with Meta.
We also use Google Tag Manager to manage Google Analytics and Google Ads measurement. Google Analytics cookies (_ga and _ga_*) measure website use, and Google Ads cookies (_gcl_au) measure advertising performance. These cookies are only set after consent is granted, including where the regional rules permit it. Google receives page addresses, titles, browser details and visit and advertising measurement data. With consent denied, Google Consent Mode may send cookieless measurement signals, but does not permit these cookies to be stored.
When advertising is permitted, we save the Meta ad click ID (fbclid) for this browser session and pass it to Ticketmaster links for ad measurement; if unavailable, we use the click ID in the Meta _fbc cookie. We do not pass it after rejection.
Why
To measure how many people visit and buy tickets after seeing our ads, and to improve and target our Facebook and Instagram advertising.
Google Analytics is used for analytics, and Google Ads for ad measurement and advertising optimisation. An outbound ticket link click is not confirmation of a ticket purchase.
Your choice
If you are in the UK, EU, EEA or Switzerland, or we cannot determine your region, the Meta Pixel and Google cookies only run after you press Accept. Elsewhere consent is granted unless you press Reject. Rejecting or withdrawing stops Meta tracking and denies Google advertising and analytics cookie storage immediately; Google may still receive cookieless measurement signals. You can change or withdraw your choice at any time in Cookie settings. We retain your choice, time, region and the notice version shown, including previous acceptance evidence when you withdraw.
